Supplier account research

Check known contractor accounts in a listed market

For supplier, distributor, and representative teams that already know the accounts they want to research. Check one name or a short private account list against one exact public city before opening the underlying record history.

What this confirms: an exact normalized name match in PermitGrab’s existing contractor-profile index for a listed public city. It does not establish account ownership, purchasing intent, a bid, product fit, current activity, or contact availability. The public lookup does not save names to a monitored account. Choosing Start trial can keep a temporary browser-tab prefill, as explained below; confirm the source and individual record before relying on it.

What this free check can answer

1. Pick one listed marketUse an exact City, ST where PermitGrab has a listed public source.
2. Check a known nameWe normalize the submitted name and look only in that market’s existing public-profile index.
3. Review the receiptA match can show profile history and a city source date before you open individual public records.

Not a contact list: a no-match does not prove a business has no permit history, and a match does not establish a current relationship, project role, purchasing need, or permission to contact anyone.

Questions suppliers ask before they monitor an account list

What can a matching profile show?

The indexed business name, primary profile trade, stored permit-history count and dates, and the selected city’s source date when those fields are available. Fields come from the published source and can vary by jurisdiction.

Are the names I enter public or retained?

The public lookup uses names to form this response and does not save them to a monitored account. Choosing Start trial can keep up to 10 valid names in this browser tab for optional Account Activity Monitor prefill. The account page accepts an available prefill up to seven days after creation and provides Clear browser copy; names are saved to your account only if you choose Add list. Names are not exported, placed in a URL, or sent to analytics by this lookup.

What should I do after a match?

Review the profile and city source, then decide whether its published history is useful research context for your team. If you start a trial, you can save your own account list and receive matching newly collected records in eligible daily research.
